Create an Agent

Create an agent when you need a named AI worker with its own instructions, knowledge, and deployment target.

Prerequisites

  • A ready Navigic workspace.
  • Access to Agent Studio in the dashboard.
  • A clear job for the agent, such as website support, internal knowledge search, or support triage.

Create the Draft

  1. Open the dashboard.
  2. Go to Agent Studio.
  3. Select New agent.
  4. Choose a template.
  5. Enter an agent name.
  6. Create the draft.

Agent names use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. Use a name that describes the job, such as website-support or support-triage.

Choose a Focused Job

Agents work best when the job is specific. For a first Website Support agent, define:

  • The audience it serves.
  • The questions it should answer.
  • The questions it should hand off.
  • The knowledge it may use.
  • The commitments it must not make without review.
